The Student Support Centre Joins Dashing Santas

On Sunday 11th December 2011, Steve Edwards, aged 26, a Deputy Office Manager at The Student Support Centre (Cheshire) entered into the Christmas spirit with 1,499 other red-suited Santa look-alikes taking part in Chester’s first ever 4km Santa Dash.
Steve Edwards completed the 4km dash in 17 minutes, beating his 20-minute personal best and proudly finished in the top 100 out of 1500 Santas!

The Student Support Centre opened its doors in 1991 and has since become the largest provider of home-based tuition programmes with 8 regional offices across the UK.
Our ‘simply’ programmes provide home-based tuition and support for children aged between 4 and 17 and may be a more cost effective alternative to private tutors for maths tuition, English tuition and reading tuition. They have been designed to mirror the way in which children are taught in schools based on the National Curriculum requirements and use the teaching methods currently recommended for use in schools.
