THE STUDENT SUPPORT CENTRE UNVEILS ITS NEW AND IMPROVED WEBSITE TODAY
THE NEW SITE OFFERS ENHANCED FEATURES AND CLEARLY DESCRIBES THE 'SIMPLY' PROGRAMME'S CONTENT AND BENEFITS FOR STUDENTS
“THIS IS THE FIRST OF MANY STEPS WE’RE TAKING TO MAKE THE PROGRAMME MORE ACCESSIBLE” says National Marketing Officer for The Student Support Centre, Sarah Noel-Tod.
The Student Support Centre Launches New Website
The Student Support Centre is today celebrating the launch of its new and improved website, designed to streamline information for Parents and Teachers. The site features a number of enhancements which clearly explain what The Student Support Centre is, what products we offer and how we can benefit students.
Sarah Noel-Tod, National Marketing Officer for The Student Support Centre commented, “It is very important to us that our new and existing families understand the content of the ‘simply’ programmes, and the journey that their child will make through the stages. The ‘simply’ programmes are 100% aligned with the National Curriculum and our new site allows parents to view the programme content in order, so families can see how it will compliment school lessons and how it would benefit their children. We also have new video content that will further help parents with their decision.”
New Sections Available for Parents, Teachers and Students
Recognising that home study can be difficult, The Student Support Centre have developed the Helping Your Family section which offers support and advice on how to keep children motivated, and how to encourage a home-study routine. “A little encouragement is all it takes and we are committed to providing our customers with ongoing support during the programme, which is where the Helping Your Family section comes in” says Sarah.
The new site has also developed a section for Teachers and Schools, which provides further information about our programmes and includes a section for questions that teachers may receive from parents and carers.
New Dynamic Content for Students
The revamped ‘Student Zone’ for children, combines ‘edu-taining’ Brain Teaser games and activities, with study advice and clear ‘simply’ programme objectives. Students can also ask questions to teachers online and the Book Corner section encourages ‘simply’ reading students to submit book reviews and discuss stories with one another.
The website will continue to evolve over the coming months and feedback is welcome. “This is the first of many steps we’re taking and we are looking to expand the website. Improving accessibility is our primary goal at the moment.” Sarah concludes.
