How To Make Chocolate Popcorn
You’ll need:
- 1 bag of sweet or plain popcorn
- 1 bag of chocolate chips
- 1 sandwich bag
- 1 sandwich bag fastener
- Water
- Kettle
- 1 large bowl
Important:
Make sure your parent or adult carer helps you carry out this recipe from start to end.
- Ask your adult helper to half-fill a small, bowl with boiled water from the kettle.
- Fill a large plastic sandwich bag with your chocolate chips and tie a knot in the bag so that the chocolate chips don't escape!
- Ask your adult helper carefully to place the sandwich bag in the glass bowl (so the sandwich bag sits in the hot water).
- Wait 5-10 minutes for the chocolate chips to melt.
- When the chocolate chips have melted, ask your adult helper carefully to remove the bag from the hot water.
- Put the popcorn into a big bowl and ask your adult helper to help you carefully pour the melted chocolate over the popcorn. Simple!
- Wait five minutes for the chocolate to set and cool down, and then tuck in.
