Khidr

My letter

My name is Khidr. I am 9 and three quarter years old. I am in year 5. I have been working with the Student Support Centre for five years and I feel shocked with my results! In spelling I  got a miraculous 19 out of 20! My friend Sakariya got a score of 20 out of 20 and I felt I could have done better if I took a re-take, all thanks to the Student Support Centre. In maths I got a 3a. In reading I got a 4a and in science I got 1 question wrong.

My two elder brothers are a big help,  and so is my mum. I am so sure I will get a higher mark if I work harder and see the minor mistakes. I think that I make better notes by watching the ‘simply’ dvd's. My brothers make sure that I understand fully. My friends say that you know many things but you do not express yourself in class. I have just tried to express myself for days and I think I could be the cleverest in the class. One day I could be a scientist.

Thank you to The Student Support Centre!

Dear Student Support Centre,

My study days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday between five thirty and six thirty p.m. I am now on lesson nine and I enjoy doing the work. The lessons are helping me and I've had a little bit of help from my mum and dad.

Dear Student Support Centre

I am writing to tell you about how I’m getting on with my ‘simply’ programme. I am getting on very well with it. At school, in maths in year 5, I am in the middle group called Cylinders. In year 4 I was in a lower group, but now that you’re here to save me, I am fine with that. About my English, in year 5 I’m in a low group in my English, but at home I am improving a lot now. At home I’ve completed my whole English set that you’ve given me. Now I’m doing my revision, starting all over again. In spellings, I’m in a high group with harder spellings to try. We need to get 15 out of 15 in spellings, I sometimes get 14, 13 and 15 which is not bad at all. In my times tables I get 20 out of 20 right. Once my teacher said that we were going to do our 25 times tables and I was so in shock but I got 20 out of 20 right.

Thanks to the Student Support Centre for helping me. It’s amazing what you can do.

Adeena

Dear Sir/Madam,

I'm doing well in my work. I've improved a lot in my maths and English. I feel proud that I've improved a lot. I like doing my exercises. The ‘simply’ programme has helped me a lot in my work. The ‘simply’ programme has helped me in my English and maths homework. The dvd's and the books of the ‘simply’ programme have helped me in my work at school.

Yours sincerely,

Travis

Hi,

My name is Travis and I am 7 years old in p.3. I am writing to let you know how I am getting on with my maths and English ‘simply’ programme. The Student Support Centre provided me with the DVDs which helped me especially to improve myself in maths and when I do the exercises I score 98%. I am trying to work hard in English and I hope to get the best results.

So I want to thank you for The Student Support Centre and for giving me the help I needed.

Elise

Dear Student Support Centre,

Hello, I am one of The Student Support Centre students. I’m on lesson 5 in English and on lesson 12 in maths. I’m doing well with my maths. With my English I’m  struggling but my maths is great. I sometimes get stuck in English but I work it out, it’s the same with my maths.

Stephanie

Dear Student Support Centre,

When I first started doing your programme, I was 10 years old and was doing the DVDs in the week. But after about half a year, I gradually stopped doing them, but now I try to do the DVD's in the week again. Sometimes I struggle because of the amount of sporting activities I do but I do find your programme very useful; they help me a lot. I think they are a good idea.

All the Best,

Stephanie

Kimberley

My name is Kimberley. I am 14 years old and I am in Year 10 at High School. I have been doing the ‘simply’ programme for nearly a year now. I really enjoy my lessons. The lessons I am doing are maths, English and spelling. I do the dvd lessons after school at my house. I do maths, English, times tables and spelling every day and I also enjoy reading every day.

I am happy if I get 80% to 100% because I know that I am doing well!
