Tejasvi

Dear Student Support Centre,

I am writing to say a very big thank you to The Student Support Centre. I began the lessons when I was 6 years old. I developed an interest in English and maths and I consistently achieved very respectable marks in every single lesson and the exercises.

The tests vary in difficulty so I rarely got full marks on my first attempt. I was often repeating them until I got 100%. In my 11+ exams, I got 90% in English and 86% in maths. I love writing stories, plays and poems and some of my poetry has been published by Little Laureates. The Student Support Centre is the secret of my success. It is a great help to use the materials whenever I can.

Angela

Dear Student Support Centre,

With your great support, I am making fantastic progress on the ‘simply’ English and maths programmes. They help me by explaining how things are done and I find it easier to learn.

The programmes are gradually getting harder and harder, but I hardly notice. I can now learn topics in little bites. The programmes help me learn more. If I did not have the ‘simply’ programmes I would not be at the level that I am at now.

Ellie

Dear Student Support Centre,

My name is Ellie. I have been using the ‘simply’ maths and English programmes for a while now. I am getting on really well. I like doing the maths programme with my mum.

The English programme is harder, but I still enjoy doing it. I received my school report the other day and it was really good. My family was very happy.

Dear Student Support Centre,

This is the first time that I’ve written a letter to someone. I like English because it is fun, I just want to do more and more. I also like maths too but I love English more.

James

Dear Student Support Centre,

My study days are Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. I am now on lesson 5 of Reading Part 1a. I'm doing my best and I'm trying very hard.

The ‘simply’ programmes have really helped by breaking the subjects into smaller bites. I now learn one topic at a time. My mum and dad are very pleased. I hope that when I go back to school the teachers will notice how much I have improved.

Kandi

Dear Student Support Centre,

I'm really enjoying the ‘simply’ programmes. I think they're very helpful. I study twice a week on Monday and Wednesday after rugby training and sometimes I just do it when I have nothing to do.

I am currently using the maths and English programmes. I like English because I understand it really well and it's fun. I don’t really like maths, I don't always understand some parts but I’m still trying hard and I'm getting there!

The programmes are helping me with my school work too. I’m going to do well in my maths GCSE because of this programme. Thank you.

Nozipho

Dear Student Support Centre,

I am writing to let you know how I am getting on with my ‘simply’ maths and English programmes. I am getting on really well. I think the ‘simply’ programmes are excellent and I like them very much. The programmes have really helped me achieve higher marks for both maths and English at school.

They have really helped me to understand things that I am not 100% sure of at school. I can find out what topic I am stuck on and then I watch it at home.

Michelle

Dear Student Support Centre,

I am writing to let you know that I am getting on well with the ‘simply’ programmes and I think the work is fun! When I showed some of my work to my friends at school they don’t understand what I am learning. When I showed my teacher at school she said that I am very clever.

The programmes help me learn hard words. I have now finished English Volume One which is fantastic. I get better and better every day!
